RCon: How EPR Is Transforming Packaging and Recycling

Extended producer responsibility has transitioned from theory to real-world implementation, and that shift was front and center during last week’s RCon session, “EPR in Action: Collaborating for Packaging Recycling Solutions.” Moderator Heidi Sanborn, Executive Director of the National Stewardship Action Council, was joined on stage by experts from across the value chain to discuss where things stand, what the first seven state programs are teaching us, and how producers, governments, and recyclers can work together as these systems become a reality.
