Reuse Repurpose Clothes

Cloth and clothing don’t belong in your recycling cart! Before tossing old clothes in the garbage, consider these earth-friendly options:
• Reuse: Get creative! Turn old t-shirts into cleaning rags.
• Donate: Give gently used items a second life at local charities.
• Repurpose: Upcycle clothing into new, unique pieces.
Only after exhausting these options should clothes go in your garbage cart. Never place textiles in recycling bins – they can get tangled in sorting equipment posing a danger to our recycling facility workers.
