🧺 Americans throw away about 81 pounds of clothing per person every year — most of it ending up in landfills or incinerators. That’s a lot of perfectly good fabric going nowhere fast.
Before you toss it, think REUSE. Donate it. Swap it. Shop it secondhand. Can’t donate it? Cut it up and make cleaning rags — that worn-out t-shirt still has plenty of life left. Every piece that finds a new home (or a new job!) is a win. 🌿
