🌵 AWAC’s Plant of the Month: Century Plant, American Agave 🌵
This large and impressive succulent forms stunning, symmetrical rosettes of fleshy gray-green, spiky leaves that can grow up to six feet long. Watch as its giant flowering stalk, adorned with clusters of yellow flowers, seems to shoot up overnight, reaching an astonishing 20 to 40 feet into the sky! Low-water plants help conserve water resources, reduce the need for irrigation, and support sustainable landscaping practices.
