What Do the Numbers Mean?

Not all plastics are created equal—and currently those little numbers in the triangle don’t mean something is recyclable. They just tell you what type of plastic it is.
✔️ #1 #2 and #5 bottles, containers, jugs and tubs = usually recyclable
❌ #3–#7 and foam clamshells = not so much
